Move-out at Texas A&M, handled in one drop
Every May and August, College Station fills up with couches, futons, mini-fridges and half-empty bottles of whatever. Most of it ends up on the curb. A dumpster fixes that: one stop, one pickup,. We rent them to landlords, property managers, fraternities, sororities and student groups.
Who this is for
- Landlords and property managers turning over houses and duplexes between leases.
- Student groups and organizations cleaning out a house at the end of the year.
- Parents helping clear an apartment or house.
- Apartment complexes that want a temporary extra bin for peak week.
Which size
| Situation | Usual size |
|---|---|
| One apartment or small duplex unit | 10 yard |
| Four-bedroom student house | 20 yard |
| Fraternity or sorority house | 30 yard |
| Multi-unit turnover | 30 to 40 yard or several 20s |
Timing around May and August
Move-out peaks right after finals in May and again in late July and August when leases roll. Boxes get booked days ahead and drivers run packed routes. Call early and tell us the date you want so we can lock it in.
Do not throw out
Mini-fridges and other appliances with refrigerant, TVs and electronics, batteries and mattresses often carry fees or must go somewhere else. Check the what you can and cannot throw page, and consider donating furniture and usable items before they go in the box.
Where to put it
Apartment complexes and rental houses almost always need the property manager’s okay. Get it before delivery. Street placement near campus is a no-go without city sign-off. Read the dumpster rules.
Questions people ask
Can students rent a dumpster?
Yes, if you are 18 or older and can provide a delivery address and permission from the landlord or property manager.
Can a landlord rent one for a whole complex?
Yes. We quote multi-unit turnovers and can schedule several deliveries. Call with the address list.
When should I book for move-out?
At least a week ahead for May and August. The week after finals and the week before leases turn over are the busiest.
